You are required to fill out our COVID-19 questionnaire before your pet is brought into the hospital

Masks are required when approaching the building and/or interacting with staff

We have been experiencing an increased case load, which may extend your wait time.

If you have been waiting longer than the doctor stated, please call us for an update.

How long is the wait for emergency service?

Due to the COVID-19 restrictions, wait times for emergency services are  extended. We are still providing quality care, however due to the nature of curbside services, everything is taking just a bit longer.

Wait time is solely dependent on the severity and number of emergencies waiting. If you have been waiting longer than the doctor stated, please call us for an update.

In order to ensure that every pet has the best chance at a good outcome, your pet will be assessed when they arrive to determine the severity of their medical condition.

Should there be a wait, pets will be seen by a veterinarian in order of priority number.

Thank you for your patience.

What to expect

  • As you arrive, you will be asked to provide a cell phone number so that we can communicate with you while you are in our parking lot.

  • After the initial phone call with one of our Client Care Representatives, our Triage Technician will get a brief history about your pet.

  • The Triage Technician will then ask you to bring the pet into the front entryway (vestibule), where they will take your pet and bring them in for the doctor to examine.

  • Once the doctor completes their exam, they will call you to discuss treatment options, recommended diagnostics and potential diagnosis.

  • We may need to keep your pet in our treatment area while treatments are being completed.

  • If the wait time is longer than an hour, please feel free to speak with the veterinarian about leaving your pet with us while you run errands or wait at home.

  • Your pet will be placed in a safe cage, with a fluffy bed and our technicians will keep them under observation until they are ready to go home.

  • We will call you when your pet is ready to go home.

Will my pet be safe while I wait?

As with every stay in our hospital, our trained staff provides compassionate care to their patients.

  • Your pet will be placed in a safe cage, with a fluffy bed and our technicians will keep them under observation until they are ready to go home.

  • If your pet is having a procedure done, we use state of the art monitoring equipment.

  • If your pet is staying overnight with us, they will receive outside potty walks and a prescription diet suitable for their medical condition.

  • A doctor will update you during your pet's stay.      As time and health conditions permit, you may also receive text updates from our staff.

  • We will call you when your pet is ready to go home.
